The physical death that reigns today over mankind started from the very moment Adam and Eve committed sin. The moment they sinned against the Lord, death took place in their bodies. Now we all fear death but Jesus came on this earth to defeat the power of death and he did so by giving his life on the cross.
The Bible says Jesus is the second Adam who removes the sins and brings life to mankind. Now we have the privilege to have eternal life by receiving Jesus. Jesus conquered death by his life and he proved that by resurrecting from the grave after three days. Death could not hold him and now we have the opportunity to live a never-ending life through Jesus Christ.
Now, let us read the following Bible verses that will make us understand how Christ defeated death and brought us life through his precious life.
