We may find joy and happiness with the things of this world but the truth is that we cannot be satisfied with them. The joy that we get from the Lord will contend us because we are created with the image of God (Genesis 1:26) and only the Lord can make us happy.
We can examine the life of people who followed the Lord throughout their lives and we will notice that they were happy even though they had gone through many trials in their lives.
If we read the life of Joseph, Daniel, and other great men of God then we will surely find that they were happy and enjoyed their lives as they placed God first in their lives.
The word of God encourages us to rejoice in the Lord as our joy and happiness come from him.
Here are some Bible verses that will help us to understand how can we find joy and happiness in the Lord. So, let us read them and be blessed.
