This world might sometimes leave us feeling disappointed, leading us to believe that we are completely unworthy. But when we see ourselves through Jesus’ eyes, we realize how priceless we are. In order to deliver us from the grip of sin, Jesus descended to earth out of his great love for us.
Although we can’t fully comprehend God’s love, as we become closer to him, we discover how magnificent it is. The Bible claims that he loved us and gave his blood for us even when we were sinners in his eyes.
He offered himself as a sacrifice in order to overthrow the power of sin and death over man’s life because he wants us to join him in heaven. We start a new life in which God’s presence is all around us when we come to terms with this fact and repent of our misdeeds.
To understand how valuable we are to God, let’s read the following verses from the Bible.
John 3:16(KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
