Jesus says to love everyone but we need to be careful while we talk with non-believers. We should know that sin is ruling our present body so a person who does not repent and follow Jesus is still walking with Satan.
In that case, we must know that we are to wash away our sins by being born-again believers. We need to make friends with the people who are following Jesus and we can trust them because they have decided to follow Jesus.
But this does not mean that we are to hate the people who are not in Christ. We should love them and bring them into God’s light through our gentle and humble behavior.
Let us look at the following Bible verses that will encourage us to know the importance of being equally yoked.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
