Jesus talked about laying down our lives for Him and for fellow believers. In Luke 9:23 Jesus says that we have to take up our cross daily and follow Him. He said that if we try to save our own lives we will lose them, but if we lose our lives because of Jesus we will gain them.
Jesus taught us two important rules. They love God and others. Jesus tells that the greatest love is to lay down our lives for others. We can live according to it.
Jesus didn’t come in vain. God knows that we are sinful. We were born into this world and became sinful. Jesus came so that he would pay the price that we could never pay to wash us clean of our sins.
And now you can either choose to accept that precious gift and live eternally in heaven after you die or you can choose to reject it, live your little life by your own rules and after you die you go to hell eternally. God doesn’t force anybody.
