The Bible teaches us to avoid all forms of greed because life is not built on having an abundance of things. Those who are rich in this world should not have any hope for wealth because all these worldly things are temporary but God is eternal. Let those who are known as rich men in this world humble themselves and thereby submit to Almighty God.
God’s Word warns rich people to be careful because of the judgment that awaits them in the future. Worldly wealth and abundance can never deliver man from God’s wrath but righteousness will deliver man from God’s wrath.
Those who are honest and righteous will prosper in life and those who trust in wealth will perish. We should surrender our lives to God every day and share our precious time with God so that we can be blessed by God so that we don’t involve ourselves in greed and walk with God every day.
Let us look at the following Bible verses that warn the rich.
