We, humans, are creatures created in the image of God. God has given us different emotions which we are guided by different words at different times. We need to remember that God has specifically warned us never to hurt people. When we hurt people it means that we are hurting their creator. From the word of God, we see how we should live our lives because through our lives the people of this world will see the Lord Jesus.
When someone speaks harshly to us, we should speak softly to him, that is, through this, we can transform the heart of that person. It is God’s will that we love one another and forgive each other’s trespasses, so let us manifest God’s will in our lives.
The Bible teaches us never to hurt a man by making his life miserable. The main purpose of our Christian life is to encourage people with God’s words. Let us look at the following Bible verses that will help us to be aware of hurt feelings.
