Prayer and worship play important role in our spiritual lives. In our families, prayer meetings and devotions must be conducted in order to receive God’s blessings. When the family prays together it causes heaven to open the door of blessings.
It is a good practice that every family should follow in order to gain God’s favor. Our family prayer and devotion can bring the family members closer to the Lord. This will also help others to learn and practice in their families too.
When we read the word of God and sing together to glorify God the evil spirits run away from the house and God’s presence reign over the family. The family members also remain safe from Satan’s wicked plans.
Family prayer meetings and devotion help other family members to grow in their faith and they also learn to depend on the Lord. Here are some Bible verses that will help us to know the importance of family prayer and devotion.
So, let us meditate upon them and grow in faith to obtain God’s kingdom which is our eternal home.
