In order to enjoy company with the Lord, who is a holy God, we must also be holy. While we are still living in our sins, we cannot be his children. To become closer to God, we must stop all of our sinful deeds.
People are becoming more and more involved in numerous addictions that take them away from God as the state of the world continues to deteriorate. We are here to have a relationship with God, thus we must adhere to his holiness.
Even though we may find it difficult, God can help us overcome our addictions. We can ask God to release us from our sinful deeds, and he will undoubtedly reach out to free us from our addictions.
