Christians are supposed to follow the Lord through hardships and temptations, but we must also be joyful. We accepted Jesus to suffer for him, according to Philippians 1:29.
Also, according to Jesus, we should be glad when we are victimized because of his name. Our struggles and tribulations won’t stay forever because this world isn’t everlasting, but the rewards we receive will endure for a very long time.
Trials and temptations are to be endured by God’s children, and they are to always be filled with joy. If we are aware of the truth that Jesus has made known to humanity, then we will always feel joy in our hearts, despite going through difficult times.
Paul the Apostle exhorted Christians in Philippians 4:4 to continually delight in the Lord. Even though he endured great hardship during his lifetime, he never stopped praising God because he was confident that he would one day be with the Lord and receive his rewards.
We must develop that kind of mentality if we are to triumph over challenges in life and be able to celebrate during times of temptation and adversity.
The following Bible verses will encourage us to rejoice in times of trials and temptations. So let us meditate upon them and find peace of mind through these scriptures.
