The best job that we can ever do on this earth is serving God with the whole of our hearts. We should give time to the ministry so that we can extend God’s kingdom. Jesus wants us to preach the gospel to the entire part of world.
God has the plan to save mankind through the gospel. So we are to fulfill his plan with our efforts. We need to involve ourselves in God’s ministry and this will bring blessings to our families and people will be saved through our ministry too.
Let us look at the following Bible verses that will help us to know the importance of serving in the ministry.
1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
