We are saved by grace through faith, and we are now adopted children of God. Therefore, we must live in a way that pleases God. We should all be afraid of God because we shall all come before the Lord’s judgement one day, and if we don’t live up to his standards on this planet, we will all be condemned to hell for all of eternity.
When we draw close to God, we become aware of our transgressions and begin to repent. As part of this process, we commit to living according to Jesus’ teachings. He is our devoted father, and when we prioritise him in our life, he fills our hearts with happiness and calm.
We shall dedicate our souls to the Lord in order to enter the new heaven, which is our ultimate goal, even though we are living in a world that never encourages us to live with God.
