All are equal in God’s sight, both the poor and rich, because after death all will stand before God’s judgment. God’s Word teaches us to help the poor and not to be vainly proud.
The Lord Jesus taught us something special about giving, as he told us that when we give to someone, we should not accept human praise. If we try to get praise from people then we will never get the reward from the Lord. God is displeased with us when we do charity in front of people, he wants us to do charity in secret and that is how God rewards us.
Those righteous people who help and stand by the poor, God fills their families with blessings because God’s eyes are on the poor so He blesses those who help them.
When we help the helpless and poor people, we should never be proud because God has given us everything that we have. so we should never be proud of the things that God has given us. God has blessed us so we can be helping His children to glorify God.
Let us meditate upon the following Bible verses that will help us to know more about giving to the poor and not to be boasting.
