From the beginning, God intended to build a beautiful intimate relationship with man. God loves man so much that He created him in His own image, and we see God establish a beautiful relationship with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
In the Old Testament, we see that God kept the promises He made to Abraham, Moses, and Noah, and later when the nation of Israel turned away from God, He sent different prophets at different times to bring them back to Him.
Since we see that God loves mankind and wants to have a good relationship with man, he revealed himself through the name of Jesus by having a son of man, and by his death on the cross, he prepared the way for man to join with God.
God has revealed himself to us as a loving father and he is always looking out for our good. He wants us not to get too involved in worldly things but to follow his path and gain divine blessings by having a good relationship with him.
Let us look at the following bible verses that will help us to understand how much God desires a relationship with us.
