For each of us, this planet is merely a temporary residence. As a result of Adam’s sin, God cursed the earth, and death entered man’s life. We only have a few days here and must depart once.
We will all die physically, but believers will be resurrected and reunited with their loved ones in heaven. When the apostles encountered the risen Jesus, they preached this fact. We will be like Jesus, looking forward to seeing our friends and family.
We will be able to overcome the pain of losing someone if we follow Jesus and heed his commands. The following scriptures should be read in order to get the mental power to go through difficult times when we miss someone we care about.
Psalm 34:18-19(KJV) “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”

Psalm 23:1-6(KJV) “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
John 14:27(KJV) “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
