As we are living on this earth so we have to face trials because the devil is the ruler of this earth. We need to fight against him in order to overcome this world. He has so many tricks to pull us back from our faith. But we are to fight against his tricks to be victorious.
Jesus has left an example before us of how to defeat the devil where he used scriptures and we are to do the same by following his footsteps. We cannot overcome him with our own abilities. We need God’s guidance and presence in our lives which will help us to avoid the devil’s plan.
Let us read and meditate upon the following Bible verses in order to overcome the devil and his wicked plans that he makes against us.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
