As Christians, we have a responsibility to care for our families. We have to put in a lot of effort to meet their needs. Paul himself instructed us to work hard in order to avoid poverty. Sometimes, a lot of Christians assert that because we received Jesus, he will provide for all of our needs.
This is an incorrect interpretation because Jesus labored alongside his father and left us with a lesson to learn. Being a great man of God, Paul put in a lot of effort to meet his necessities. Accepting Jesus does not require us to stop working; rather, we must work harder so that we can meet the needs of our families and the church.
Our first priority should be to seek God, and everyone in the family should have the same desire to honor God via their deeds. The Lord will assist us in managing our family in accordance with a great plan if we do our tasks honestly.
To have the mindset of providing for our family in order to appease God’s wrath, let’s read and reflect on the following Bible scriptures.
