In order to protect our souls, God put us on this planet to live according to his principles. We have no future without Jesus because we live in a world that is corrupt. But when we become closer to him, we learn about the promises and hope that bring us joy and serenity.
Satan is incredibly crafty and continually working to turn us away from God. He tries to lure us into his trap on a daily basis and wants to sever our connection to God.
We are unable to perceive how he is making every effort to keep us from God, but when we follow God and live spiritually, we become aware of his activity. We must put on all of God’s armour in order to defend our souls against the devil’s strategy.
We are assured that we can face Satan’s might and wickedness when we put on God’s armour. The Lord himself desires for us to arm ourselves with his heavenly weapons that will enable us to walk in his spirit and protect us from the devil’s grasp.
The following verses in the Bible make it apparent how important it is to put on all of God’s armour. In order to be brave and resist temptations the devil places in our ways, let’s study and ponder upon them.
