Jesus has bought us from the hands of Satan by his blood and now we have become the children of God. But we did nothing for this, all that Jesus has done for our salvation.
Now we are blessed and walking with the Lord so we need to fulfil what the Lord desires us to do. We must give up all kinds of sexual acts that God hates. We cannot serve God and at the same time, we continue our sinful works.
The Lord says we must be content with our own wife as it is the will of God. But if we sleep with another man’s wife then we are going to receive a curse from the Lord. The Lord himself is holy and he called us to be holy in order to be worthy to live with him.
We must flee from this sexual temptation as the Lord ask us to follow him. Now let us read the following scriptures that will make us wise and help us to keep ourselves free from the stain of sin.
Leviticus 20:10(KJV) “And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.”
Exodus 22:16(KJV) “And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.”
Proverbs 6:29(KJV) “So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.”
Exodus 20:17(KJV) “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.”
