Jesus predicts that we shall endure hardship and face injustice because of his name. Due to our faith, those around us could be hostile to us. We should put up with someone mistreating us occasionally.
We shouldn’t seek retribution. Retaliation is mine, according to Jesus. Jesus confronted Paul as he was persecuting Christians and questioned him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
When someone wrongs us, it means that person also wronged Jesus. Therefore, we ought to refrain from acting in the same manner toward others. They deserve our forgiveness and our prayers.
We must wait for God’s presence in our circumstances because we are aware of the truth and that God is in charge of everything. We should seek God’s face rather than take any action against people.
The following verses from the Bible will encourage us to maintain our composure and keep our thoughts at ease when someone wrongs us. So let’s contemplate them and be blessed.
