Although the Bible does not directly use the term spiritual paralysis, we can understand the meaning of being spiritually paralyzed or spiritually weak by studying certain verses in depth.
When the Lord Jesus was on earth, he healed a paralyzed man and forgave his sins and the next time we see that man was healed and started to walk. Through this miracle, we see how the Lord Jesus heals us spiritually and He can also heal us physically.
When we turn away from God and become too busy with worldly activities, we become spiritually paralyzed. Our enemy the devil is always trying to keep us away from God forever. If we always obey God’s word and stay in His ways, then we will be successful in the journey we have started for eternal life.
