As a result of our inherent sinful nature, we humans are cut off from the Lord. We no longer occupy heaven’s enviable position, and we are unsure of our destiny. Our lack of access to God’s word causes us to worry about the future quite a bit.
Future worry will come naturally to us if we are unaware of what God has to say about it. According to the Bible, God has not given us a spirit of fear, so rather than being afraid of what may come tomorrow, we should have courage.
Instead of worrying about the future, we can strengthen our relationship with God and gradually learn about the plans he has for us. Trials, temptations, and issues will occasionally arise in the lives of Christians, but the Lord is on our side and he will wage the war on our behalf.
We should boldly exclaim, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Therefore, all forms of fear and anxiety will be eliminated from our thinking, and our faith in God will enable us to understand God’s perspective.
Take a look at the following Bible verses to see how they can help us overcome our dread of the future. Therefore, read the verses below and reflect on them to help you let go of anxiety.
