Bible Verses On Hindrances To Spiritual Growth – KJV

There are many things that hinder our spiritual growth like sinful, worldliness, lack of faith, unforgiveness, and lack of knowledge.

These above factors play a special role in our personal life which hinders our spiritual growth. The Bible says that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God, so we should confess our sins to God and ask for forgiveness. Only if we seek God’s forgiveness with a truly repentant heart will we be able to grow spiritually.

On the other hand, we must give up living a worldly life because God tells us that if we love the world then the love of God cannot be in us. Lack of faith also hinders our spiritual growth. So we should believe in God and if we fully believe in His existence then we will get the reward from Him.

Many times we cannot forgive those who wrong us and this prevents us from growing spiritually. As the Father forgave our sins, we should also forgive those who wrong us. Lack of divine knowledge prevents us from developing a good relationship with God. So we should study God’s word regularly which strengthens our relationship with God.
