When someone needs our help, we are to pray and give them encouragement. Jesus used to pray and heal the sick, and we are to do the same. Through the scripture, we must have faith in God.
When our neighbors, relatives, or friends are ill, the Bible instructs us on what to do. In order to encourage them, we need to approach them and share the consoling scriptures with them.
Because God’s words are so potent and active, they can heal the sick and give people the faith they need to trust God to get them through difficulties and illness.
Let us read and meditate upon the following Bible Verses that will comfort the sick to get strength from the Lord.
Isaiah 58:8(KJV) Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.
Psalm 30:2(KJV) O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
Exodus 23:25(KJV) And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Psalm 147:3(KJV) He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Deuteronomy 7:15(KJV) And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.
