Even when we are very busy with many different tasks, we should still take care of our family because we must keep them safe from harm. Each member of the family must mature in Christ, and we should feed our family with the word of God. To allow God’s blessings in the family, each family member must prioritise God.
Today, we can see many families in our neighbourhood dealing with a variety of issues. Their situation is due to their separation from the Lord. With our limited wisdom and insight, we are unable to lead our family well. However, with the Lord’s assistance, we are able to do so. We learn in Psalm 127 why it is best to let God build our families and how they can fall apart if they do not exalt God.
If everyone in the family is spiritually filled, the devil will be afraid to enter our home and we will be in God’s presence. The members of this family will be shielded from all forms of evil that exist in the modern world.
Let us have a look at the following Bible Verses that will give us more insight to protect our family from evil.
