Humans are emotional creatures, and when we experience hardships, we frequently suffer. However, the Lord has provided us with means by which we can quickly overcome them and maintain our delight even when things are difficult.
Reading about the lives of the apostles can teach us a valuable lesson that will enable us to remain joyful even in the face of adversity. When we anticipate something from others and it is not delivered, we become hurt. But we should be prepared for the gift of eternity that we will receive from heaven.
