According to the Lord, our purpose for being on this planet is to carry out his righteousness. Even if we are free from the influence of sin, we are nevertheless limited in what we can say and do.
When using our tongues, we need to pay extra care. Despite being a minor component of our bodies, it has the power to cause significant events in our lives.
Our tongues have immense power since they have the ability to both benefit and harm others. Therefore, we must use it carefully to avoid being put in danger by our own words.
Now let’s look at the following scriptures from the Bible that will teach us how to control our tongue and how to use it, in order to prevent any harm that it can bring.
1 Peter 3:10(KJV) For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.
