A number of biblical passages tell us that on the first day of the week, the apostles and the early believers joined together to worship the Lord. Even the Lord commands people to work for six days, but on the seventh day, they must worship him.
Giving the first day of the week to the Lord is beneficial for all of us. We shall be blessed in our work if we begin each new week in the Lord.
We should devote our time to the Lord so that he can lead us and fill us with his spirit to take us to our destination, since the greatest commandment instructs us to love God first.
