Jesus has taught us clearly that it’s not outer dirt or cleanliness that matters to God, but the cleanness of our hearts.
Bad things may come into our lives from germs and accidents or from ‘the world. And we try to protect ourselves and our families – with washing, cleaning with insurance and pensions. Being Christians we often struggle to know which strategies to use to avoid bad things happening in our lives.
We need God’s favor in our life to be organized for which we need to pray and read the word of God and rely more on him. As Christians, we should know that we have already been made clean by the blood sacrifice of Jesus.
